Just to clarify, I'm not doing it for the money. Dont need it and never will.
I value the experience though, the "been there done that" feeling rather than the "OMG ECTO"

I think you forgot to mention the 3 sec. rule on zealouts fire.
The monsters won't run away if your casts are 3 sec.+ apart.

please use search function
You must do "Cities of Ascalon" quest (from Symon the Scribe) - after that you will get your cesta (it won't show as a reward with -50HP though).

Well they have taken this quest out now and if you didnt have it on any characters before the update then you cannot get one apart from buying them. they are between 5-15k usually. hope that answers your question.

Please do not spread false information.
The quest has NOT been taken out, it is infact still there. Some people might think it is taken out because they have not fulfilled the proper requirements.
In order for the quest to appear you must have done:
Defending the Wall
Counting The Fallen
The Great Northern Wall {Mission}

Grasping Darkness
Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has tips for killing the grasping darkness in a 2 man group. I did my first run today and this was where I had the most trouble, not Nightmares like you would expect. I did everything similar to what I had done with the Aataxes and I had Spellbreaker and all of my other enchants up and yet I was still taking damage. Any tips would be nice
PS My Necro partner did have SV up just to clarify.

Well, I'm not really sure why you took so many damage... maybe don't aggro all at once? With PS, HB and occassionally BD I had no problems with darknesses so far (provided SV has been cast on me of course).

I've got the ascetics set from drok's and before I mess up the armor, could you tell me how to double up on one of those pieces of armor please? I thought you could only apply 1 rune to each piece?
Or do you mean get the scalp with say +1 prot prayers and apply the prot prayers rune to that one?
|
Monks can use the following runes: Healing Prayers, Protection, Smiting, Divine Favour, and Vigor. To help get down to 55Hp, you need 5 superior runes. So to achieve it, you double up on one as you cannot use a superior vigor (defeats the aim of reducing HP, no health penalty and increases it).
Therefore, you would have to double up one, preferably the cheapest. e.g.
Scalp --> Superior Healing
Body --> Superior Healing
Arm --> Superior Protection
Leg --> Superior Smiting
Foot --> Superior Divine Favor
You will not get the +3 benefit from one of the Sup. Healing but that does not matter as you are after the -75 Health.

That was a brilliant guide, very detailed and clear. Easy to understand and an excellent use of the pictures (Y)
I have a question though, Would I be able to put 5 sup runes on my armor if I'm like lvl 10? I was wondering if I would like die? I don't think you have more then 375 health at lvl 10...
I apologize if that was written in the guide, I must have missed it

Great monk build, working on a build right now...I was just wondering about the Necro, I have a lvl 14 N/Me at the moment, and I wanted to know If that is a good combo for the UW necro partner? Also, if that is a good combo, what are some skills I would want to take to be a useful UW partner as a necro?
Regards,
Countess Renox
